This delightful miniature “detective camera” is in the shape of a pocket watch and took 25 exposures on a cassette containing 17.5mm film. It was invented by Magnus Niell and manufactured by the Expo Watch Company. A spool in the cassette interlocked with the film outside of the camera. Since the shutter was not self-capping, it was necessary to place the lens cap, which resembled a watch winding-knob, in place on the stem during cocking,
My Expo Watch Camera comes with a film cassette, viewfinder, instruction booklet, and its original plush, fitted box featuring a retail price of $5.
